About Us
'Janeryl' is the affix owned by Janice Bannister, it was love at first sight when first introduced to shibas back in 1995 and they have been a major part of the 'Bannister' household ever since. Janice & Brian have a lifetime experience of dogs, they now own Cottage Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Shropshire, England. Janice is also an International Championship show judge & Professional Dog Trainer with the I.M.D.T. (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers)
Janeryl shibas are known around the World for their beauty, they have won major prizes in several countries including World Winner 2012 in Austria, Reserve World Winner in Sweden 2008, Paris 2011 & Budapest 2013. Beautiful home bred 'Tango' - International Champion 'Janeryl's In The Line of Fire' was also Crufts Best of Breed, Utility Group winner and Finalist in 2008.
We strive to breed only the very best dogs in terms of health, conformation and temperament. To achieve this we have searched the World for new bloodlines , we have imported some wonderful shibas which we believe will compliment our dogs and hopefully produce some exciting show winners in the future. We are proud to be members of both UK Shiba Inu Breed Clubs and the National Shiba Club of America.
Puppies are very occasionally available to carefully selected owners who share our passion for this enchanting breed.
